John Ratzenberger
John Ratzenberger is best known for playing mail carrier Cliff Calvin on one of the most popular sitcoms of all time “Cheers”. He had read for the part of Norm Peterson, but after the audition, he could tell they weren’t going to give him the part. Sensing an opportunity, he asked if they had written a “bar know-it-all”, which the producers decided was a great idea. Cliff became known for his outlandish stories of plausible half-truths, irrelevant trivia, and ignorant misinformation, and was known for being an overall pretentious blowhard.
Star Wars fans world wide know John for his role as Major Derlin as seen in “Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back” and those same fans will recognize him from another huge franchise; “Superman 1 & 2”! Horror fans remember him from “House II” and “Motel Hell”, films which are on the oposite side of the spectrum when it come sto what kids know him for today!
John’s popularity has crossed over from the sitcom, Sci-Fi and fantasy worlds into another huge demographic, being recognized by kids off all ages for his various roles in the Disney/Pixar animated films! John holds the record as the only actor to voice a character in 23 Pixar films. His voice being heard as various characters was a running “gag” that he and director John Lasseter decided on together. John never tells fans which character he voices, he wants them to be surprised and figure it out for themselves when they see the film. His Pixar films include all the “CARS” films, “Coco”, “The Incredibles 1& 2” and reprised his character role as Hamm in all five “ Toy Story ” films! His favorite voice is PT Flea from “ Bug’s Life ”.
Tim Jacobus
For more than 35 years, Jacobus Studios has been a fixture in the commercial and book art world. During this time period, the studio has always been a loose association of extremely talented and creative people who make up this team. No surprise, the studio is headed up by Tim Jacobus. Tim has navigated the studio from it’s early inception as a traditional illustrator for hire - using pencils, brushes and paint - into a fully functional digital studio, never forgetting that the core concept still comes from a simple scribbled sketch.
Jacobus is responsible for well over 100 pieces of art. Best known for his cover art work on the R. L. Stine Goosebumps series, Tim is responsible for creating the iconic 62 original series covers, followed by the Goosebumps series 2000, special edition books, calendars and other GBs promotional art.
Andrew Bowen
Andrew Bowen began his career with TV and commercial roles before landing the lead in Capcom’s interactive game Fox Hunt and appearing on MADtv. He later shifted his focus to directing and producing, earning festival recognition for films like Along the Way.
His acting credits include Matlock, Shameless, NCIS, Magic City, and Leverage, while he is best known as the voice of Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat series. He has also voiced characters in numerous other video games.
As a filmmaker, Bowen has written, directed, produced, and starred in projects including The 716th, a sci-fi comedy that premiered at Tribeca. He also co-founded Anatomic Pictures, which develops sci-fi and psychological thriller projects.
