Help us keep ValleyCon safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone. By attending, you agree to follow the ValleyCon policies below and the instructions of event staff and security.

Accessibility

ValleyCon is committed to helping attendees of all abilities take part. The venue and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, reserved seating is available for people with disabilities, and service animals are welcome.

If you need a specific accommodation, email us at least two weeks before the event so we have time to arrange it.

Props and weapons

Under the ValleyCon policies, all props are inspected and tagged by security at the entrance and must be clearly identifiable as nonfunctional.

The following are not permitted:

• Real weapons, including firearms and sharp blades
• Functioning projectile props, including airsoft and Nerf guns
• Props that emit smoke, liquids, or hazardous materials

Misusing a prop may result in it being confiscated and in your removal from the event.

Costumes and consent

Keep costumes appropriate for a family-friendly event. Hate symbols, offensive imagery, and obscene content are not allowed. Costumes must not block your movement, create a hazard for others, expel substances, or include sharp protrusions.

Cosplay is not consent. Always ask before photographing or touching another attendee or their costume.

Badges, admission, and refunds

Wear your badge visibly at all times and present it when staff or security ask. Badges are nontransferable.

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

Violating the ValleyCon policies may result in your badge being revoked and your removal from the event, without a refund.

Code of conduct

Treat attendees, guests, volunteers, and staff with respect. Follow event rules and staff instructions, and help us keep the space safe and inclusive.

The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, discrimination, and abusive behavior
• Disrupting events or panels
• Unauthorized solicitation or distribution of materials

Report concerns or incidents to event staff or security right away.

Anti-harassment

ValleyCon does not tolerate harassment. That includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwelcome physical contact, and inappropriate photography.

This policy applies everywhere ValleyCon operates: the show floor, panels, workshops, and ValleyCon's online platforms.

Violators may be expelled without a refund and, where appropriate, reported to law enforcement.

Safety and emergencies

Follow posted signs, the ValleyCon policies, and instructions from staff and security. Keep aisles, exits, and emergency equipment clear. Report suspicious activity or safety concerns to security promptly.

In an emergency, follow staff evacuation instructions. First aid stations are available — ask any staff member. Keep your belongings secure and stay aware of your surroundings.

Vendors and exhibitors

ValleyCon reviews all vendor and exhibitor applications and may accept, decline, or revoke an application at its discretion. Vendors are subject to all ValleyCon policies on this page, along with the booth terms provided at the time of booking.
