Meet Satine Phoenix at ValleyCon 2026 in Fargo, October 23 to 25 at the Fargo Air Museum. Satine is running four tabletop sessions across the weekend, from two Sirens D&D games to a hands-on writing workshop.
Satine Phoenix has been rolling dice since 1988, when she discovered Dungeons & Dragons at eight years old, and she’s been building legends at the table ever since. As creator of Celebrity Charity D20 in 2010, she helped bring actual play to the world, producing official D&D series including Sirens of the Realms, her show spotlighting women in gaming and as Dungeon Masters.
When the actual play movement received the 2018 Diana Jones Award, Maze Arcana was named an exceptional example of the genre. Satine went on to serve as Community Manager for Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast, and she created Sirens: Battle of the Bards, a 5th Edition campaign setting featuring a foreword by Luke Gygax. Her work has been featured in TIME, WIRED, and io9.
While gaming is an important hobby to her, she is currently a Health Optimization Coach and host of the podcast Feel Younger, Think Wiser.
