Step into a world of fantasy with the Don’t Go Inn & Tavern, an immersive Dungeons & Dragons experience!

Dress as your D&D character and mingle with fellow adventurers in a cozy, tavern-style setting. Enjoy the ambiance while sipping on refreshing 1919 root beer—refills are free when you purchase a collectible mug!

Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or new to the game, this pre-party promises a night of fun, fantasy, and unforgettable interactions.

Nerd Prom (Cosplay Dance) Ages 18+

Let your imagination run wild at Nerd Prom, the cosplay dance party where anything goes!

This is your chance to debut your bold, NSFW, or over-the-top cosplay. Dance the night away with our live DJ, grab a drink from the cash bar (serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages), and strike a pose at the photo booth to capture the moment.

Whether you’re here to dance, mingle, or show off your unique style, Nerd Prom is the ultimate after-hours event of FMCC 2025!

Dave Wheeler

Dave Wheeler aka Dave Wonder is a jack of all trades when it comes to comics and design. Working as an: inker, colorist, letterer, writer and book designer in comics for the better part of two decades. Dave currently resides in Minneapolis, MN with his family two dogs and his dreams! He is proud to be one of the co-founders of the kid-friendly comic company MIND WAVE COMICS doing his part to bring back fun to comics! Along with comics Dave has worked as a toy designer for Boss Fight Studios and streams regularly about his love of toys on his Youtube channel: Youtube.com/davewonder stop by and join the conversation! Outside of comics and toys Dave also has worked as a graphics, gear and merch designer in the professional wrestling industry, having his work seen on AEW, ROH, NJPW and WWE! When he’s not in the studio he enjoys long walks on the beach, making toys and professional wrestling!

John Bivens

John Bivens is an award-winning comic creator, illustrator, and educator.

His client list has included publishers like Heavy Metal Magazine, Image, Valiant, Vault, Oni Press, IDW, and many more. He currently lives in Minnesota, and is a member of World Monster HQ (a comic creator studio located in North East Minneapolis). Various projects John has worked on have been nominated or won awards like the Eisner Award, Harvey Award, & Ghastly Award. He has also been the the recipient of the Frank Frazetta Award for Excellence in Illustration.

Gigi Edgley

Edgley was born in Perth. She is the daughter of theatre, concert and circus promoter Michael Edgley, known for bringing the Moscow State Circus to Australia during the 1980s. Her mother, Jeni Edgley, was formally involved in managing a 250-acre health retreat. As a child, Gigi Edgley performed both in and out of school. She became mainly interested in acting and had her first professional theatrical engagement at the Twelfth Night Theatre. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queensland University of Technology in 1998.

Spencer Wilding

Spencer Lee Wilding (born 26 July 1972) is a Welsh actor and special creature performer in the UK. He is from Meliden in Denbighshire, North Wales. He has also had some success as a professional kickboxer and professional cruiser weight boxer. He was trained by former three-time world champion Russ Williams.Wilding physically portrays Darth Vader alongside Daniel Naprous in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He is also notable for playing the werewolf form of Remus Lupin in the 2004 film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Cara Nicole AZPowergirl

Cara Nicole aka AzPowergirl is a stellar cosplay sensation online and on the convention circuit. She brings her unique brand of sassy stylings to the world with her successful book crowdfunding campaigns, calendars, comic books, and convention appearances. Her success as a comic book creator and comic book cover model only add to her skill set.

Rachel Skarsten

Rachel Alice Marie Skarsten was born April 23, 1985 daughter to Mary Aileen Self Skarsten and Dr. Stan Skarsten. She has a younger brother Jonathan Skarsten.

Rachel danced for the Royal Academy of Dance for 12 years, earning her Elementary Level with distinction in 1999. After an injury to her ankle, Rachel was forced to give up dance and turned to sports.
